The Studio
The Studio is a community center nestled on 11 beautiful acres in Eastern Ohio.
The Studio offers a welcoming space where children and adults can develop creativity, skills, community, and resilience. Through free arts and music classes, book groups and fascinating seminars, clubs and cooperatives, the Studio provides opportunities for human flourishing and solidarity.

Unwind Fiber Arts Group, 7pm – 9pm
A time to relax and peacefully engage in knitting, crochet, needlework, and more while building a new community. -
Homeschool Study Hall, 12pm – 2pm
Held between September and May, Study Hall is for 12-17 year olds to have a safe space to study and quietly visit while at the Studio. Tea, coffee, and snacks are provided.Open Art (Teens), 2pm – 4pm
Teen open art is a time for 12-18 year olds to make use of The Studio’s art supplies and have the opportunity to develop their skills and discover new ideas for their creative work.Open Mic Night, 8pm – 10pm
A low-key setting to share your musical talents, comedic routine, poetry, or acting. Our open mic is an encouraging community, allowing you to develop your on-stage presence in a welcoming space. -
Open Art (Adults), 6pm – 8pm
Adults over 18 are welcomed make use of The Studio’s art supplies and have the opportunity to develop their skills and discover new ideas for their creative work.School of Community, 7:30pm
School of Community aims to be a true school which, through the reading and discussion of texts, shaping its participants a clearer understanding of the nature of the Christian fact. The method used is comparing the Christian proposal and one’s own life in order to continually verify—in the light of one’s experience—its capacity to respond to human needs in every aspect of reality. -
Parenting Group, 11am
Parents gather to support one another, share experiences and learn new skills with the guidance of a peer mentor.Open Art for Children, 3:30pm – 5pm
Open art for children (ages 6-12) to make use of The Studio’s art supplies to explore their creativity with our art director. -

Beginning in July, held on the final Saturday of each month, come take a tour and learn about the work we do!Community Potlucks, 5pm
Held twice monthly, bring your families to experience communal time. We will handle the main dish, which we keep gluten- and dairy-free.
SundaysMonthly Family Night, 5pm
Come enjoy a dinner and listen to community topics related to marriage, parenting, and child development. Babysitting provided by the Baby sitter’s Club of Steubenville. If your child has additional support needs, please contact ahead of time so we can make sure to plan together how to best support your family. -
We also have vocal and guitar teachers ready to take on new students to develop their talents.

We don’t charge fees, but The Studio is made possible through collaboration and mutual help so we welcome donations of any amount and we deeply appreciate any offers of volunteer service. To donate, please scroll to the bottom of this page.
